16 people have been captured in Iraq who are said to be directly related to the kidnaping of 3 U.S. soldiers.
1)How are both articles related?
This is a step forward in the fight against terrorists who are suicide bombing and killing in Iraq like what was described in Maria’s post.
2)What did you actually find interesting about this article?
That they actually caught the terrorists who kidnapped those U.S. soldiers and later killed them, it shows that the U.S. is making progress in it’s war against terrorism.
3) what did you actually find interesting about the blog posting?
That 1 single bomb can do so much damage, it killed 32 people and wounded 50 people and also that these people are willing to die just to stop the U.S. it’s pretty amazing how much they hate America when the U.S. troops are just trying to help.
What did you learn from the last two classes and what did you learn about the renaissance?
I learned a lot about culture like that only women used umbrellas, also that Halloween wasn’t popularly celebrated until the 1500’s and that pencils weren’t invented till the 1600’s . I also learned that paper money wasn’t invented yet.

ever since I was able to hold a brush.
Victor: What are your most famous works or deeds?
El Greco: How dare you ask me that question! Everything I create is
famous;
none of my artistic creations are better than the others!
Victor: Sorry…I didn’t mean to offend you. Anyways, how did your
work change
the way people lived in the Renaissance?
El Greco: My work inspired artists, philosophers, and writers
throughout the
ages, it made people stop and think about God and suffering.
Victor: What impact do you believe your work will have on the future?
El Greco: My work will inspire artists and writers throughout the

El Greco: Mainly God, but also the great works of Michelangelo and
Tintorreto.
Victor: Many people claim that the strangeness of your works is because
you
were mad or suffered from astigmatism, is this true?
El Greco: If you ask me such a stupid question again I’ll leave this
interview!
Victor: I realize that El Greco isn’t you real name, what’s your
real name?
El Greco: My real name is Domenikos Theotocopoulsos
Victor: How’d you get your nickname?
El Greco: I signed all my paintings in Greek, which is which is why I
got
the name “The Greek” or El Greco.
